(Story of Joseph #35)
"Restraining Order" Gen 50:12-21
After Joseph's father died, Joseph's brothers thought that Joseph would seek revenge for their sins against him. So, the brothers concocted a plan. Whether the plan involved a lie or not, Joseph's pure heart was clear. What restrained Joseph from seeking revenge is not only an example of God's restraint toward us, but also of the restraint we should have toward others who sin against us.
