The leaves have fallen from many trees these days
They have left us in the mornings chilling gaze
The leaves that once adorned our trees of a dress of green
We are now left with our town dressed in autumn brown
Many are sad to see the colors of God’s breath go,
Thus leaving us to looking for winter’s snow
We need not fear, since when two or more Christians meet as one,
They are in the presence of God’s Holy Son!
We have true reason to celebrate because the journey is not through
We are going to see leaves of green again since God promises a new life renewed
Next spring the leaves will bud and bloom
Thus lifting our spirits especially since we know Jesus could not be locked in the tomb!
Let His light shine through us all
Take a breath, relax, and just enjoy fall.
